About me
I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor - or ADI - in November 2022 after extensive training carried out alongside my regular day job. This training included observing other Instructors delivering their lessons and also getting feedback from them on my lessons whilst on a Provisional Training License. This recent training does mean I'm fully up to date with the DVSA requirements for Learner Drivers.

I have a very calm and patient personality and will do my very best to ensure each pupil learns at their own speed and capabilities. All too often, pupils will feel pressure from their family or peer group but there is no set time or number of lessons an individual needs. To me, it's much more important that a pupil is adequately prepared for passing their test as then they will feel much more confident once they are driving on their own. During lessons, we'll drive on a wide variety of roads (as well as test routes as the test approaches) as it's important to teach a pupil how they can cope with any new situation by reading the road ahead and making sound judgements as this will ultimately make them a much safer driver.

I worked very closely with Laura Turner - another Driving Instructor in Wymeswold - throughout my training and continue to do so. We regularly do Mock Tests for each other's pupils and are also able to cover each other absences if necessary. Laura has a particular interest in teaching pupils with anxiety so between us, we can offer additional support where required.
See Laura's Website for more details.
